Honestly, Dr. Isaac Marquez is not much of a supervillain. The only reason he put on some obligatory costume-y bits and started working with Crimr is because he was framed and drummed out of his chosen profession -- and desperate to pay off his student loans. This whole masks-and-capes nonsense is getting in the way of his work trying to cure cancer.
Despite wanting nothing to do with any of this... he's getting upsettingly good at angry ranting and monologues. To the point where he's seriously considering therapy.
