Content Warnings (Spoilers)
This game is rated T for Teen for alcohol consumption, mild violence, and implied swearing. All swearing is visually censored. There is no nudity but adult content is implied (kissing, physical affection, etc.)
- Adult Content (Implied)
- In Level 01, you have the option to refer to QueenBee as your "mistress" and make jokes about kneeling and submitting.
- Throughout the game, Teo will flirt with you in a good-natured way. It only becomes more direct if romancing him.
- Francine will frequently tell amusing stories with implied sexual activity about her past (how her husband died making love to her, how she went nude at a beach, etc.)
- Terminal Illness (Heart Condition)
- Percy's storyline involves two cases of terminal illness -- his younger sister who passed away, and as revealed in Level 04, he also has the same illness. Depending on your relationship and potential romance with Percy, this either resolves in him finding treatment or his fate is inconclusive.
- In Level 06, a character dies of old age.
- Violence
(Physical Fighting, Incident of Gun Violence)
- In Level 06, you have the option to punch someone in the face.
- In Level 07, a fistfight breaks out beween two groups of teenagers. At the end one pulls out a gun and the player suffers a non-serious gunshot injury.
- In Level 08, a character is temporarily using crutches. Some mild jokes and insults about this are involved.
- Mental Illness (Depression, Social Anxiety)
- Throughout the game, the player character has an arc involving depression stemming from family trouble and income inequality.
- Ashley's romance storyline involves depression, inclduing a breakdown in Level 07. In the end they resolve to seek therapy.
- Naomi suffers from social anxiety concerning large crowds of people.
- Racism (Discussion Of)
- Talking to Gavin at lunch during L03 or L04 will result in him discussing his family's past, including his grandfather's difficulty climbing the career ladder as an African-American.
- In L04, QueenBee discusses how POCs and LGBT and other disadvantaged groups have difficulty finding success in esports.
- In L05, when romancing QueenBee, she will discuss how rarely people say her name correctly, or make fun of it.
- Gaslighting
- In Level 01, an angry parent insists a child tricked another child into spending money on his game.
- In Level 08, we find out a father has been gaslighting and coercing his daughter into cooperating with his schemes.
- Mild Illness (Vomiting)
- The "Quirky" version of the game's finale involves an eating contest which ends in the loser vomiting.
- Fatphobia (Mild)
- In Level 01, when first meeting Percy, an "Angry Rando" calls him a "fat piece of crap." The rando leaves the arcade shortly after.
- Police
- In Level 01, Teo can use the implied threat that the doughnut shop next door has plenty of cops in it to get an angry and abusive parent to leave the arcade.
- In Level 07, the player can threaten to call the cops on a gang of rowdy teenagers causing trouble in the arcade. If the player chooses not to do this they'll still mention the police in the sense of "we don't need to involve the police" and the teenager will warn you against contacting them.
- In Level 07, after a fight goes out of control an causes massive damage and injury, the police show up regardless. Ultimately they are not helpful in the situation.
- In Level 08, you optionally can consult with a cybercrime investigator to find someone you're trying to track down. This is suggested by Gavin and Teo; Gavin will say he believes in the ideal of law and order, if not always the specifics of how that law and order are implemented.
